PUBLIC NOTICE:

CITY RECEIVES EPD NOTICE
Our community water system recently violated a drinking water standard. Although this is not an emergency, as our customers, you have the right to know what happened, what you should do, and what we have done, and are continuing to do, in order to correct this situation.
What should I do?
There is nothing you need to do. The violation does not pose a threat to the quality of the water supplied. Residents should not be alarmed and do not need to seek alternative water supplies. We are taking corrective actions to ensure that adequate monitoring and reporting will be maintained. The corrective actions are in the notice that is included with this post and will also be included in your next utility bill and sent through our upcoming newsletter.
Again, there is nothing needing to be done and the water is able to be consumed as normal. You DO NOT need to boil water. You DO NOT need to seek alternative water supplies, filtration systems, water softeners, or anything of the like.

If you have any questions after reviewing the notice, please contact us at your convenience and we will provide you any information that we are able.
